To 2012 and Broader Horizons

As December draws to a close I find myself in the usual habits...making way to many plans for the months ahead. Personal goals and changes for Stone and Fiber top the list. I will be taking the business in many new directions of expansion and exposure, and my quite crafty sister will be joining me.
I am most excited to be introducing a beautiful line of "mined and made in USA" stone and sterling silver jewelry. I have been able to find some wonderful suppliers and look forward to working with them.

This morning's Treasury highlights some simple yet fantastic gift finds on Etsy.  It's not too late to do your holiday shopping online!  Buy handmade ~ the recipient of a handmade gift will truly appreciate the time and thought that was put into the choosing.

Winding Down

Today I have my beading board set up for a few last custom orders for the holiday. Then there will be one last neckwarmer to knit and I can relax for the season. The Etsy orders are still coming in and I expect to be shipping until Friday the 16th. I suppose things could still go out on Monday the 18th, but there will be no guarantees for Christmas arrival even with USPS Priority Shipping.

Although the beads and stones are tucked away for the season, giving way to knitting and time spent on fibery creations, I continue to find myself dreaming up all sorts of jewelry designs and will most likely be adding a line of earrings and a few southwestern inspired pieces to Stone and Fiber very soon!

Update

I have been AWOL as of late in many things including this blog. Preparations for a show (the first in many years) has had me tied up in knots, focusing only on jewelry making and my booth set up. The day was a success and incredibly fun. Now its time for speed decorating and shopping before the holiday passes me by. After tweeking a few more custom orders I will put aside the stones and beads for a few months and take out the needles to concentrate on the fibery side of Stone and Fiber.

Snow White

Yes it has been a while, but I was inspired this morning by the predicted snow that had not fallen...A new treasury collection featuring some of my Treasury League teamies and other wonderful artists of Etsy.
